Barnsdale Cottage is located a short drive away from historic National Trust properties such as Melford Hall, Kentwell Hall, The Guildhall of Corpus Christi, Paycocke’s and Flatford Mill famously know as the location of many of John Constable’s paintings.

Shalford village is nestled between some of the most revered ‘chocolate box’ villages in both Essex and Suffolk. Finchingfield and the villages of Clare and Lavenham are easily in reach.
